Haystack Papermaking 2016 A two-week summer papermaking course at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, called Paper Contains the Universe. I taught students to make paper directly from plants as well as half stuff, to make and use a variety of natural dyes, and to manipulate the paper and bark into all manner of WOW. July 17-29, 2016.
Hanji at PBI 2016 4-day intensive course in making hanji and manipulating it, producing almost 400 sheets of 2-ply paper in the Korean tradition. 13 students made paper rope and thread, fused and textured paper, dyed paper and bark, laced and smoothed bark, and wove paper.
