Penland papermaking workshop Fall 2018 A beautiful week of making Asian-style papers at Penland in their brand-new paper studio. Ten of us explored processing plant material (paper mulberry and milkweed) from scratch, joomchi, jiseung, shifu, books, and natural dyes while sharing stories and lots of paper love. Oct 6-3, 2018.
